TGIF

Good morning, Slacker... ;-)

TGIF. It's first period and my kids are working quietly so I thought I'd send a good morning message. Already I can't wait for the day to be over. I just want to go home with some take-out (I'm thinking steak and cheese sub) and a bottle of wine and not leave the house. We're supposed to get lots of rain this weekend from the hurricanes/tropical storms, so it will be a perfect weekend to do nothing...although, of course, I have fallen behind on housework--again-- and M and V are having their annual pig roast Saturday. I really don't want to go to, especially if it rains, but haven't a choice. I guess they are keeping an eye on the forecast and may put it off from Saturday to Sunday if that looks like the better day, but according to this morning's weather report they may be SOL.

Open House last night was okay, but it makes for a long day when you're driving home from school at 9:30 pm...And 7 am felt especially early today to start.

I'll write when I'm hunkered down, either tonight or tomorrow morning. I hope to read from you between now and then.
