Hey,
Sorry about the lab frustration. Today was good, even though it felt like it lasted for about a week. Yeah, I know most people work during the time I am out shopping...but it was still a busy day. I just didn't leave myself enough time between things to not have to rush everywhere. Not to mention the track meet went on forever again, (3:30 - 7:00, and it wasn't even over when we left) and we were scrambling to change clothes, get a bite to eat and get to football...20 minutes late.
I met up with Bro J after dropping JJ off, and we took a look at that venue for my parents' party. It was gorgeous; perfect for what we want. Then I was chatting with a mom at football and it turns out she had her wedding reception there. She highly recommended it and even said the catering was awesome. It's always good to have a personal recommendation!
I would love to sit here and blog...not only write but get caught up on my reading too. However, since I didn't get much sleep last night and have to be at JJ's school early tomorrow morning, I should get to bed (it's already 11:00). I'm volunteering in the morning, then working on my deck in the afternoon. Do you have Friday or Monday off? We have Friday. Hallelujah!!! S and I are going to start the deck staining process tomorrow (buy supplies, wash the deck, etc. ) and Friday I will stain it. That's me, the DIY Girl. Hahahaha!
Saturday: football game, then J comes home from NY late that afternoon. I was proud of myself for saying NO to my bro when he asked if I could babysit Saturday night. I'm way too nice, considering babysitting is no longer reciprocal (since I don't need it) and they have an annoying tendency to call right about the time they said they'd be home and ask if I'd mind if they stayed out later. Well, I guess you already are, aren't you? I want to say. I hate being such a wuss. Of course I felt terrible saying no, but I have to get over that. At least I did it :)
Ok...seriously nodding off here. Hopefully I'll get a chance to write a little tomorrow, maybe between school and stain shopping (which isn't really shopping, because there aren't any shoes at Home Depot. Crocs don't count.)
Happy Thursday,
Love you, A
