I guess you didn't read my Sunday entry, as I mentioned in it that I was done with the book and thought it was brilliant....(just a little, loving dig there....) Honestly, though, I was thinking that maybe you want to take a break from blogging here? It shouldn't be stressful and feel like something you have to do and I certainly don't want you to write out of guilt. So if you want to take a break, until summer maybe, then let me know. Otherwise we can keep at this as often as fits in our schedules and moods and skip the apologies. It's up to you.
We're having a rainy week here, and I'm having my period, so I'm feeling a little blah. I went out for drinks with C yesterday after school and it just kicked my ass. And not because I drank too much. I came home and ended up napping most of the evening before heading to bed, so I knew better than to celebrate Cinco de Mayo today. Instead I ran a couple of errands and came home to do a little nesting.
I just finished making meatballs and gravy to have for this weekend. W is coming down for the weekend, although he was just surprised by his brother and sister-in-law and new nephew (who live in California) at his parents', so I wonder if plans are subject to change. Maybe I'll head up that way one night instead of him coming here for two. I'll talk to him later, I suppose, and we can talk options.
I hope you enjoyed your eggs benedict and found some new stools at the scratch n dent. Have fun tonight at New Bobcats night! I can't believe JJ is going to middle school either. Wow. It definitely deserves an oh my goodness, how'd that happen?
