Hey,
Quick note before I go to bed. I had a good weekend with A, although he's pretty exhausting (mentally). The ball game on Friday night was really, really fun, even though we lost. The kids had a blast. Yesterday was good too. A and I went to lunch and the movies (Whip It) then later I went to the wedding with T & S. It was fun, but it was outside and since most of us didn't know that, we were totally ill-dressed and froze our butts off. We got home by 7:30 so A, JJ and I watched James and the Giant Peach before hitting the hay.
Today was gorgeous; JJ and I had planned to stay in our jams all day and watch movies, but he ditched me early on when his peeps came to get him. I was ok with that and went outside to do some fall gardening. Just what I needed after a high-energy go-go-go weekend.
I got my first sub call on Friday and, of course, couldn't take it. But I am ready to go for tomorrow, in case I've somehow been moved up the list and get another call. If not, we're supposed to have nice weather through the week, so I'll continue with "autumnizing" my yard.
