One more note from me today....
I decided that it was perfectly okay to stay in today. It's our first day after "falling back," so it should be getting dark any minute now. Hibernating seems in order. I'll be out and about a lot this week (2 doctor's appointments in Hartford this week--one on Wednesday and one on Thursday) so I'll have opportunities for my artist's date. Maybe I'll even go to a museum. I don't think I've been to the Wadsworth Atheneum since C had her wedding reception there.
After a big ol' glass of water I put some bacon in the oven and mixed a Bloody Mary while my bacon cooked. Now with a BLT in my belly and a Bloody Mary next to my computer, why should I leave the house? Plus, I'm all into the special coverage today on msnbc with the election 2 days away. I'm in a writing mood and have little things to do around the house while I wait for Pats play at 8.
